People, people. Apologies from the upper-crust that is management. I know what some of you have been thinking, so this post will have to clear things up:

BEST KEPT SECRET is still on and running.

We are still currently looking for proper venues to host our sound, which brings up an issue: If anyone knows of any venues around The Southbay or the Westside (Beach Cities, Culver City, Marina Del Rey, El Segundo, Venice, etc.) please drop us a line if you can. In the meantime, our boy F1 will be doing some more gigs around town to spread the good word. (More on that, on the next post)

In the meantime, we’ve been doing some diggin’ to get some tunes on the public sphere. So for that process, we have been using the iMeem service to host our sound on Myspace and on other related sites. Unfortunately, they are clamping down on copyright issues so all tunes from iMeem will only be a 30 second sample if you don’t have the actual track on your ‘puter. Almost kinda defeats the purpose, but hey that’s what we’re here for. So then, we’ll be hosting the same tunes that is on Fraze’s MySpace and iMeem page, on the official BKS site (here) for a good few months or so (until we get a cease-and-desist…from the dead, maybe??)

Download them now and quick because they’ll be gone. Eventually all of the tunes that we’ve hand picked might end up on a compilation CD somewhere, sometime.

As far as the event goes, we would appreciate it if you could be a little patient, and we’ll run di system straight-away. Hold tight!
